An excerpt from a novel in process was a finalist for the Sycamore Review's 2023 Wabash Prize for Fiction. Other excerpts have appeared in Euphemism and the Central Oregon Writers Guild anthology.

Lulofs is a graduate of the MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa, NC.

Born and raised in Illinois, he resides in Bend, Oregon.
